It seems like children learn about the world's vices regardless of what you do to prevent it. We thought it would be best if we taught the children ourselves, rather than letting them learn about that stuff from some 3 year-old punk at the playground. Lesson 1: Gambling. We took the boys to the track on Sunday to help them understand why they shouldn't gamble. Unfortunately, Mr. Hamilton and his little buddies Mr. Roosevelt and Mr. Roosevelt beg to differ.

After careful, actually reckless, consideration of the racing form. I put $2 on Miltos Express in the 7th. Why? His trainer had the same last name as Ben's great-great grandfather. I think the key to victory was placing the bet with one-eye Anthony. His line was slow, but obviously worth it. With about an 1/8 to go, it didn't look good for Miltos Fortune. He was 2nd to last when he past us, but ended up barely
winning, which paid $10.20.
