Photo Contest
In honor of Bradley's upcoming birthday, we are having a photo contest. It's not an ordinary photo contest. In this one you have to guess how many pictures I have taken of Bradley in his first year. More specifically, you need to guess how many pictures we have of him on the computer hard drive. The cut-off for entries is Wednesday at midnight. Use the comment feature to post your guess.

Going Down
Bradley crawled down a whole flight of stairs on Monday night. This was part of a longer trip where he went all the way from his bedroom to the family. For much of the distance, Brad was walking.

Good Weekend
We had so much fun this weekend. First, Bradley helped out at the garage sale. Later, we went to Lilacia Park to smell all the nice plants. Bradley was actually playing with daddy there. Lately he had always been squirming away from dad. He was also very well behaved while we were bike shopping. On Sunday, we all went to the Arboretum.

Easter
Wonders never cease. They make a "Baby's First Easter" card. Maureen is always good at sending us baby's first cards. When Bradley saw the card on Friday, he took several steps towards it.
Bradley got three new stuffed animals for Easter. He also received a set of stacking rings, but he was more interested in stuffing the pole in his mouth than doing any stacking.

The Carnivore
Bradley's been a little ornery the last few days. (You know which side of the family he gets that from ;) He likes to feed himself and hasn't been interested in being spoon fed. He's been feeding himself a wide variety of food: Cheerios, star puffs, wagon wheels, baby toast, baby biscuits, and even real chicken.

Bradley is the BOM
The daycare center has named Bradley as Baby of the Month. I feel bad that Bradley missed the first week of his reign. However, this distinction comes with no duties or rewards. I was hoping for a free month of daycare, or at least a week.

Double First! - No Fooling
Yesterday was a first for both Bradley and daddy. We drove on the Parkway North in Pittsburgh. It was built shortly before I moved and I never had a reason to drive on it until Thursday.

Double First!
Just one day after standing for the first time, Bradley took his first steps early this morning. Afterwards, I noticed that he had something in his mouth. It was gum. Bradley was walking and chewing gum at the same time! I was really baffled about where he got the gum, so I looked around everywhere he had been this morning. I eventually figured out that he got it from the underside of the desk in the kitchen. It must have been left by the prior owner's kids. This is exceptionally disgusting since A) it was used gum and B) it was at least 7 years old.
