Piggy Bank

Last year we gave Bradley's piggy bank to my dad. His mission was to fill it up. He did a very job. As you can see the bank is not that big, but is sure can hold a lot. Guess how much. I will give you one hint, there were only two pennies in the bank. Click on the comment link below for the answer.

This made me think of a new contest. You can borrow the bank and attempt to top my dad's amount. Send me an e-mail if you want to enter the contest.

Boxing Day Miracle

It rare to hear about a Boxing Day miracle, but we have two to report. First, in the morning, Bradley did some walking with Grandpa's help. Then, 10 hours and 500 miles later, Bradley sat up for the first time. He had gotten close many times, but never made it the whole way.

Christmas Gifts

Although it wasn't on his Christmas list, Bradley received a special present: his two front teeth. The left one broke through today and the right one is very close. Of course, he also got a bunch of toys, too. We will play with them this week and post our reviews after the new year.

Merry Christmas

Bradley says "Merry Christmas" to you all. Not "Seasons Greetings" or "Happy Holidays" or even "Glad Tidings", just a good old-fashioned "Merry Christmas".

Click the picture for a very special presentation of the Night Before Christmas featuring Bradley (11Mb).

Happy Festivus

Today marks the first major holiday in Bradley's life: Festivus! We celebrated around the metal pole. Of course, Bradley tried to eat it. We skipped the Airing of Grievances. After all, how can anyone have anything bad to say about Bradley. I easily won the Feats of Strength. However, Bradley's eyeball squeeze technique is quite powerful. He could be a formidable opponent in future years.

Christmas Card

A couple of people has asked me why is Bradley doesn't have any clothes on in the Christmas card. Both his stylist and his publicist suggested we do one of those baby butt pictures for the card. Mom and Dad agreed. However, after two photo shoots we couldn't find a full body picture that we liked. The best of the bunch is shown below. As you know, we ultimately went with a close up that features his cute face, rather than tush. To see a fully clothed and still adorable Bradley, come back to the blog on Dec 25th for the Internet premiere of The Night Before Christmas.

Baby's First Baby's First

Bradley received his first Baby's First Christmas card on Saturday. It was from Gram Gram Betty. A few month's ago she sent us a Baby's First Halloween card. As did Maureen. Maureen was even more original last month. She sent us a Baby's First Thanksgiving card.

Yesterday was also Bradley's first NCAA football Division II championship game. I don't think they make a card for that occasion.

Rock Star

We may be raising the next Ozzy Osbourne. Here Bradley is biting off the head of a chicken and a turtle.

Blogogy

Sorry that the posting have been light lately, but two cases of the stomach flu caused a change in priorities. Bradley picked up the disease during our trip to Pittsburgh. I got it from him when we got home. I can't believe that Christine did not get it at all. She was catching a lot of shrapnel while taking care of Bradley, but she never did get sick. It is interesting that Bradley has gotten sick on both of his road trips this year.

In addition, Bradley hasn't been doing any new tricks, so there is not too much to blog about. He is getting very close to being able to go from a laying to sitting position.
