Earning Your Keep

Bradley loves a good fire at Grandpa's house. It doesn't matter if it is inside or outside. He is even willing to help haul wood for the fireplace. Ben is not as helpful. His main responsibility is looking cute. After all that hard work, the boys got to roast hot dogs and marshmallows on the new outdoor fire pit. Sounds like a good deal to me!

Take Your Time

Ben has recently started a sport class with Coach Kyle. The first week was soccer. The next week the weather was nice enough to play T-ball outside (in Chicago in mid-November!) It was the first time I have ever seen someone mosey the bases.

Working It

On Thurday night the boys road the rails downtown to visit mommy at work. Bradley thought it was cool since he could write on the wall at mommy's new office. It was also awesome that there was a McDonald's at the train station.

Nakie Night Night

When putting on jammies, Ben likes to do some streaking while saying, "Nakie Nakie". One night he dove into bed and said "Nakie Night Night".

Last Hurrah

The family had a great day on Sunday. The started off right since everyone slept in their bed all night for the first time in a week. To celebrate, we went to the airplane restaurant. The boys got to see a couple take offs and landings. Since the weather was so unbelievably good, we went to the children's garden at the arboretum. Lots of other people had the same idea. I think we were in the post-church, pre-football rush. But wait, there's more! We had to break out the bikes for one last spin.

Moo Moo Here

Ben's talking has really improved lately. He has even begun to sing.

Nowhere To Go But Up

After taking over 5000 pictures in the last 4.5 years, a bad one was sure to turn up sooner or later. In case you are wondering, that is a chicken quesadilla in Ben's mouth.

Fall Fun

We made our annual trip to County Line Orchard this weekend. Ben rode the Moo Choo for the first time. Ben didn't like Pete, the pumpkin eating dinosaur, but Bradley did. Ben wasn't enjoying the petting zoo until we got to the part where you could ride the little tractors.

The Interior Designer

On the last day of our vacation in Wisconsin, Bradley and daddy woke up before mommy and Ben, so we went for a walk through the hotel. This was fine, since I wanted to take some pictures of the hotel without a bunch of people in them. Bradley was fascinated with the various animal print carpets throughout the building. He made me take pictures of every pattern. They are posted below for your viewing pleasure.
