Bradley's always a big help. With winter on the way, Grandpa needed some help stacking firewood and cleaning up the yard. Good thing we had packed Bradley's working gloves and grandma was able to supply head gear.

Thanksgiving
Bradley really enjoyed Thanksgiving this year. We went to my cousin's house and he got to see some horses. We feed the horses before dinner and then after dinner, Brad got to pet Lady.

That's My Boy
What is the only thing better than having pancakes for dinner? Folding them in half and pretending they are tacos!

Big Week for Ben
There was a lot going on in Ben's world this week. Most significant is that he started to roll from his stomach to his back. This puts him just about on pace with Bradley (see October 2005). Sometimes he just keeps rolling and rolling. During our holiday trip, he got to meet almost all of the family. The other new development is that he ate cereal sitting up for the first time. He hasn't completely mastered sitting. He still tips over a lot.

Make A Barn
Almost every night before bed we play Legos. Originally we would "make a big tower". Now, we "make a barn". The only difference is that the barn has space for a horse and cow. Sometimes the barn has a door. Sometimes it has a window. Most of the time it just winds up being a tomb. The animals are freed in the monring with a swift kick from Bradley's foot.

Happy Halloween
The big day has finally arrived! Bradley was much more into Halloween this year than last year. He really enjoyed the Halloween party at school. He spent a long time this evening inspecting the loot from school (see below). But, that wasn't enough. So we went out for some official trick or treating (see above). We only hit 4 houses, but that was enough. Brad tried a Skittle, but didn't like. He does like Kit Kats.

A K-Fed Type of Day
As I was rocking Ben to sleep on Saturday my mind was drifting. I started to think about Bradley's diet for the day. It wasn't good: pancakes, waffles, a cheese burger, 4 chicken nuggets, and we ended the day with a meatball for dinner and a half Krispy Kreme donut for dessert. That doesn't sound good, I know. It's like a page out of the Brittney Spear's Parenting Guide. But then I remembered that we did manage to hit all the food groups. The fruit group was covered by a Gummi bear that Brad had earlier in the day. Plus, he had plenty of vegetables - french fries for lunch and some vegetable Ritz with dinner. That takes us up a notch in the parenting hierarchy.
Baseball?
Bradley has invented another new game. You may recall his first invention - the Ball in Box Game. This one may look a lot like baseball, but it is called Crack Some Skulls game. Who needs a guard dog when you have Bradley protecting the castle?

The Waterboy
Bradley is more than half-way through his second set of swim lessons. The video below shows he is much improved in the areas of blowing bubbles and kicking. The newest skill is the blast off. He is better at doing it forwards rather than backwards. He is still not too comfortable with the back float.
Mr. Mess
Rather than putting all his toys in the dining room, Bradley decided to pile them on the fireplace. This time he did it without the aid of his work gloves and work hat.
