Time to Pay the Mortgage?

It's the 30th of the month, so you know what that means. It is time to continue a family tradition started many (~2) moons ago: a trip to Heaven on Seven to celebrate Ben's birthday.

Big Week

Last week was pretty eventful week for Ben. He started eating rice cereal and he has rolled over a few times.

New and Notable

Despite some bad behavior on Saturday morning, there were some notable events this weekend. First, Bradley started using the pedals on his bicycle. See the video. Second, Brad completely undressed himself for the first time. Until now, he could take off everything except for his shirt. Lastly, Ben's proficiency with the bottle has greatly improved. On Saturday, he took a bottle from dada and on Sunday he took one from Grandma.

Bradley has also been learning numbers, but he only knows 1, 2, and 9. To him, 2 means "more than one", and 9 means "a lot more than 2".

First Day of School

Ben started "school" on Tuesday. The first topic covered was how to use a bottle. He hasn't mastered that yet, so we'll have to keep working on it.

Three Months

Ben hit the 3 month mark. Keeping with tradition we headed to Heaven on Seven. His current stats are 15 lbs 7 oz and 24.25 inches. That is a bit heavier and shorter than the first born.

East Coast Swing

Last week we headed east to visit Grandma, Grandpa, and Great Grandma. Despite poor weather at the beginning of the trip, we had lots of fun. Bradley went to the Children's Museum and the Zoo. Ben went on a river boat trip. A video will be posted later.

A First First

Ben took his first boat ride last week. This is significant because it is the first time that Ben has done something that Bradley hasn't.

Smooth Talker

On Saturday, Bradley unwrapped a present that wasn't his.  He was first scolded by dada and then soon after reprimanded by mama, who had just gotten out of the shower.  Bradley's response: "Mama pretty hair".
