Getting Mobile

Bradley sure is getting good at crawling. Today, he crawled across the family room. He was also doing well during our trip. This picture is from last Friday.

Back Home Again

We just completed a big road trip - 1350 miles over 8 days, covering 4 states. Considering how much time we spent in the car, I think Bradley handled it quite well. Click the picture for a video of the trip (7MB).

Relatives visited:

  • 3 great grandmas
  • 2 grandmas
  • 2 grandpas
  • 1 aunt
  • 1 uncle
  • 1 great aunt
  • 2 second cousins
  • 1 great aunt and great uncle that had something better to do than visit Bradley (I can't imagine what that could be!)

Firsts:

  • Visit to West Virginia
  • Visit to Ohio
  • Time gas has been below $2 since Bradley was born
  • Trip on the Ohio Turnpike

The trip wasn't all good news. Bradley got sick on Wednesday. Things got worse on Thursday when we found out Jessica and Nick are splitsville.

Holiday Outing

We had quite the outing on Monday. It started with some skating. Bradley watched with Grandma. There was a nice sunset nearby.

After dinner, we looked at the Santas and gingerbread houses at the PPG Wintergarden.

First Snowfall

Today was the first snowfall for Bradley.

Not Crawling, Yet

Bradley is not crawling quite yet. His moving forward a bit, and I would say that it is more than mere scooting. Let's call it "concerted forward motion". His CFM is sometimes slowed when he accidentally rolls over and decides to take a minute to suck on his toes.

Weekend

Bradley got to spend all day with Grandma and Lisa on Saturday. Mom, Dad, and Grandpa went to the Purdue game. It was just about the most beautiful November day I ever did see, and Purdue won. The big rivalry game is next weekend. I think I know who Bradley is rooting for.
