Fall Fun

We made our annual trip to County Line Orchard this weekend. Ben rode the Moo Choo for the first time. Ben didn't like Pete, the pumpkin eating dinosaur, but Bradley did. Ben wasn't enjoying the petting zoo until we got to the part where you could ride the little tractors.

The Interior Designer

On the last day of our vacation in Wisconsin, Bradley and daddy woke up before mommy and Ben, so we went for a walk through the hotel. This was fine, since I wanted to take some pictures of the hotel without a bunch of people in them. Bradley was fascinated with the various animal print carpets throughout the building. He made me take pictures of every pattern. They are posted below for your viewing pleasure.

Mini-Vacation

We took the boys to the Dells last weekend and they really liked it. All the outdoor attractions were closed, but our hotel had an indoor water park that was lots of fun. The boys liked all the water features, even the wave pool and the lazy river. Bradley rode of many of the slides. The only thing the boys wouldn't go near is the tipping bucket which dumps 1000 gallons of water every couple minutes. At night, the boys watched the Muppet Movie for the first time. It was a totally awesome vacation. I can't wait to go back.

Finally!

Bradley finally has his bowels under control. We had just one accident in the last week, but he was really trying to get to the potty. This is much better than the days when he wouldn't even try. Mommy's deal was that 4 good poops in the potty gets you a trip to her treasure box. The first prize is a Chick Hicks hauler.

Damage

Bradley went to Purdue game last weekend and apparently learned to swear. Fortunately, he doesn't do it very well. While watching the Purdue game yesterday, he informed mommy that when there is a bad football play, you say "damage".

The Price is Right

Bradley had the opportunity to do some shopping today. He took $4 to the toy and clothing resale at church. He had the chance to buy anything. He considered the M&M car, Bob the Builder Legos, a Pooh Bear game, and a few other things. The only thing he bought was a Bears shirt for 75 cents.

Not Twins

We have known for a while that Ben likes ice cream. Recently, Bradley explained why he doesn't like ice cream. It's too cold. Colder than ice, he says. Another difference between the boys is that Ben likes chocolate milk. The restaurant only had chocolate milk. Bradley refused to drink it. Ben drank it all with no comment.

Show Me the Money

We took the new hiking GPS out for a spin on Saturday. I think this was Bradley's third geocache. When we found the cache, it didn't take Bradley long to decide which trinket he wanted. He picked a foreign coin.

Bed Not for Sale

Ben finally started sleeping in his bed. I think the new sheets and pillow helped.

The Heli-train

I think Bradley's favorite part of our Labor Day trip was visiting the Duquesne Incline. Actually, that is probably his second favorite. He really liked staying at the hotel next to the McDonald's drive-thru window in Ohio. However, I don't have any pictures of that. In any case, Bradley was having trouble remembering the term "incline", so he started calling it the heli-train. That is actually quite a clever phrase he has coined.
