Uno, Dos, Tres
After our bike ride on Sunday, Bradley went for his first dip in the hot tub. He loved it, of course. He even learned to count to three. Click here for a video (8mb).

Bike Trip
Mommy, daddy, Bradley, grandma, grandpa, Lisa, and Chris all went for a fun bike ride at the Dunes on Sunday. We started at the visitor center and then biked down Lake Shore Drive in Beverly Shores and went all the way to Mount Baldy. After a break we started to head back just as a rain storm started. Bradley stayed nice and dry inside his Burley trailer, while the rest of us got wet. We were all drenched in sweat before the storm, so it was actually a little bit of a relief.

Favorite Words

Bradley says "dada" a lot and he is using it correctly, not just spewing syllables. Next, I need to teach him how to say "number 1".
He also says "oh" as in "uh-oh". He learned that from Jake at the father's day party. At, first he would say the word all the time. Now he uses it correctly, like when he drops his food off the table.

Mr. Clean
You are aware of Bradley's sweeping abilities. Now he has a new talent. After we change his diaper in the sun room, he will walk the bag to the garage and the, with assistance, deposit it in the garbage can.

New Game
In this video, Bradley demonstrates a new game that we play. It is called Ball in Box.
Step 1: Grab a ball
Step 2: Put ball (or any small object) in precision cut hole of $60 box.
Step 3: Lift box
Step 4: Watch and listen to balls roll out (giggles optional)
Step 5: Retrieve balls while box girl resets the box
Step 6: Repeat over and over and over again!
Brad also plays traditional games, as shown in this video.

Walking, Walking, Walking
Bradley sure is getting good at walking. He can walk forward and backwards. He can walk with or without shoes. Sometimes he walks around with one shoe on and one shoe off. Brad is getting comfortable at walking on uneven surfaces like grass and mulch. He still hasn't mastered sloped surfaces, either up or down.

Visiting the Toddler Room
Today, Bradley was invited to spend the day in the Toddler Room at school. Bradley was served lunch of fish sticks, cheesy potatoes, and peas on a paper plate. (Ms. Kim said that he was unsure of the paper plate since the Infant Room does not use paper plates.) After Bradley at his lunch, it was nap time. Ms. Kim showed Bradley how to lay on a cot. Bradley feel asleep and slept for 2 1/2 hours. This is big since he usually sleeps 45 minutes in the Infant Room.

Backwards
On a couple of occassions today, Bradley walked backwards. When he got started, he would not stop until he ran into a piece of furniture. We think Bradley was trying to show off for Grandma and Maureen.

Yummy in the Tummy
Bradley has been expanding his palate recently. Last week he ate chicken nuggets. This week he started eating real (not mushed) peas. On Monday he had some steak and today he had some hamburger.
When we were in Pittsburgh, Brad made his 5th visit to Primanti's. This was the first time he ate any of the food there. I gave him a little bit of my French fries.
